Modern kids have a whole different way of viewing the world and communicating.
Two recent conversations between me and my 6-year-old son:

Me: Are you getting in the tub?
Son: After it's done loading, Mom.

Me: Don't you want jelly on your sandwich?
Son: No, I deleted it, because I don't like that flavor.
